A Life of Beauty

A Child. A Son. A Sibling. A Grandson. A Nephew. An Uncle. A Cousin. A Friend.

Remembering Tristan Deonte Sheppard (1996–2024)

On May 11, 1996, Tristan Deonte Sheppard was born to Terry and Ann Marie Sheppard. On April 6, 2024, at just 27 years old, Tristan’s life was tragically cut short—leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light.

Early Childhood

Smiles. Smiles. Smiles.

From a young age, Tristan embraced his faith and was baptized early in life. He was known for his kind heart, boundless energy, and deep devotion to family. If you knew Tristan, you knew joy. He was the kind of person who made people smile—whether through his jokes, his generous spirit, or his playful sense of humor. Tristan had a natural gift in the kitchen and loved to cook for those he cared about.

A Spirit Full of Love

Laughter. Family. God.

He found joy in simple pleasures: working on his go-carts, trying out new restaurants, and sharing laughs with loved ones. His church community cherished him deeply, and after his passing, they honored his memory by dedicating the pew he regularly sat in—a powerful symbol of the love he left behind.

Tristan is survived by his devoted parents, three brothers, one sister, three nephews, five nieces, and two grandmothers, along with many aunts, uncles, extended relatives, and friends who loved him dearly and miss him beyond words.

Though his time on Earth was brief, Tristan’s impact was profound. His spirit lives on in the memories, stories, and hearts of everyone he touched.

Tristan’s Favorite Scripture
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”
— Isaiah 54:17
